Hands in the Air

March 2067. Milana, 60, looks back at the time of her life when she was a young Chechen immigrant in Paris, struggling for a better life. A grade school student, Milana had no visa. When her friend Youssef and his family, also in Paris illegally, are arrested by police and deported, Milana, who lives with her mother and cousins, begins to fear for her future in France. Her friends Blaise, Alice, Claudio and Ali organize a plot to save Milana.
