Hands and Cloth

Mnaouer, a gifted young puppeteer, goes to Casablanca in order to pursue acting classes, with the benediction of the chief (hilarious) of his little village. Confronted by a new universe that is strange and rich, Mnaouer discovers a sense of purpose in his life and his art. Starting from a factual event, Omar Chraïbi weaves a moving story, paced with laughing and tears. The actors illuminate the fitting comic and dramatic aspects of this tale, imbued with humanism and a profound reflection on the role of the artist, movingly symbolized by Mnaouer.
