Felicia's Journey

Felicia is a poor Irish girl (Cassidy), who is impregnated by her boyfriend. Soon after the boyfriend leaves for England to serve in the British army, Felicia is kicked out of her father's house. With no ID she goes to England to search for her boyfriend. Lost and alone, she finds the much needed kindness of Joseph Hilditch (Bob Hoskins), a fastidious bachelor and cafeteria chef. Unfortunately, she soon finds out that Hilditch has a compulsion to "cure" young girls' problems by killing them and burying their bodies in his garden.
