Corbo

Montreal, 1966. Jean Corbo, the youngest son in a wealthy family living in Mount Royal, is exposed to dissident nationalist literature by Julie and François, teens who distribute Front de libération du Québec (FLQ) leaflets at his private secondary school. The shy 16-year-old boy is already aware of his older activist brother’s support for a pro-independence party, while their wealthy lawyer father has Liberal party ties. Jean quickly becomes radicalized and joins a student cell of the FLQ, where he rises through the ranks.
