In the summer of 2008, a team of environmentalists and filmmakers, fiercely opposed to the hydroelectric dam project on the Romaine River, embark on a 500-mile journey on the river in order to document the wildlife and plants. Along the way, the filmmakers and their spokesman, Quebec actor Roy Dupuis, denounce the myopia of the government and Hydro-Quebec for not examining renewable energy alternatives.
