Celtic Soul Overview

In the same vein as The Trip and Who Do You Think You Are, this documentary profiles the unlikely bond between an Irish soccer journalist and a Montreal Canadiens fan across three countries and two continents.

Despite being a Montreal Canadiens fan, Jay Baruchel is obsessed with Glasgow's Celtic Football club. But like so many impassioned fans, he's far from the action. That changes when he connects with journalist Eoin O'Callaghan, whom he's been following on Twitter for two years.

Together, Jay and Eoin embark on a hilarious trek to discover the roots of football (AKA 'the beautiful game'). They travel from Canada to Ireland and Scotland, and in addition to football facts, uncover truths about themselves and their identities.
