Azur & Asmar: The Princes' Quest Overview

Animated tale about two boys: Azur, blonde and blue-eyed, son of the lord of the manor, and Asmar, dark-skinned and black-eyed, the nurse's child. Brought up like brothers by the nanny who fills their heads with magical tales of faraway places and fairies, the children are suddenly torn apart. Azur, haunted by the legend of the fairy Djinn, intends to find her in lands beyond the seas.

When they grow up, the friends now find they are rivals, each in search of the fairy. To succeed, they must face many dangers and magic spells. Especially when they realize they’re not the only ones in search of the place where she hides.
