A Dark Truth Overview

Jack Begosian (Andy Garcia), the host of a political talk show, was once a CIA operative. A corporate whistle blower (Deborah Kara Unger) convinces him to expose her company's cover-up of a massacre in a South American village after they inadvertently poisoned the water supply.

When Jack arrives, he's plunged into a violent and chaotic situation, as the military cracks down on a group of protesters led by a pair of activists (Eva Longoria, Forest Whitaker).
