The life of Parango Octave, a creative genius in a prestigious Parisian advertising agency, takes a dramatic turn when Sophie, his girlfriend, ditches him, and his new ad campaign is rejected by the client. All of a sudden, the young, rich, cynical, arrogant cocaine addict realizes to what point his craven profession disgusts him. He decides he will get himself fired, but keeps getting promoted instead.
