Lionel, a subway driver, has raised his daughter Josephine since she was a tiny girl. Now, she's a university student. Nothing matters more to Lionel than Josephine, and Josephine feels the same way about her father. Little by little, Lionel realizes that time is passing, even for them. And the time when they will have to part is growing closer. Especially when a handsome young man moves into their building.
