Rich guys get all the inside information. That's how come they're rich. Information really is power. In this film, the rich guy in question is a software mogul who's also the world's wealthiest man (can you say Bill Gates?). This wealthy guy somehow learns how the whole world's going to end and sets out to let 19 of his fellow billionaires in on the secret so they can protect themselves and then emerge to dominate the world.

Yeah, right, like wealthy soft guys used to being waited on hand and foot are going to last 20 minutes in a decimated world.
