Vin Diesel shares his appreciation for the Fast and the Furious fanbase, and says it was the public’s love of the franchise that made him want to return to play the character Dom in The Fate of the Furious. He reveals the movies have evolved from just street racing to saving the world. Vin also talks about why it was important to have a director like F. Gary Gray, who is really focused on each performance in the film. He says he knew Gary would be able to perfectly capture the darker side of Dom Toretto. Vin adds that this film is a entertaining and compelling way to capitalize on what moviegoers have loved about the previous films in the franchise.
