Simon Pegg, who plays Benji in Mission: Impossible – Fallout, reveals why Tom Cruise decided to keep director Christopher McQuarrie on for a second film. Simon also discusses Benji’s evolution through the past four movies and says because there were script rewrites happening during filming, that Henry Cavill’s character was a mystery to most of the cast up until the end of the shoot. He also talks about Tom Cruise’s stunts, saying that the audience really responds to the extra level of authenticity when Tom does things like a flying a helicopter upside down.
