Ruben Fleischer Interview

Ruben Fleischer exploded onto the scene in 2009 with Zombieland, which made him a hot young director to keep an eye on. His follow-up was 30 Minutes or Less in 2011 and now he gives us Gangster Squad, a gritty 1940s crime drama starring the likes of Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling.

Tribute.ca spoke with Ruben about his love for this era, the challenges he faced recreating this world and how he was literally pinching himself when he assembled the star-studded cast.
