Jamie Campbell Bower, Lily Collins & Robert Sheehan Interview - The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is set to be one of the biggest movie events of the year. Jamie Campbell Bower, Lily Collins, Robert Sheehan and their castmates spent months on soundstages in Toronto shooting the film, having trained for months to get into top physical shape.

Based on the book series by Cassandra Clare, the movie follows Lily Collins' character Clary, a seemingly ordinary teenager living in New York and hanging out with BFF Simon Lewis, played by Robert Sheehan. But Clary’s world soon turns upside-down when her mother is kidnapped and she learns the truth behind her family bloodline. Jamie plays Jace in the film, a mysterious and charismatic Shadowhunter.

Tribute.ca caught up with Jamie, Lily and Robert in Toronto to discuss the pressures associated with turning a bestseller into a film, the “wow” factor of seeing their special effects film come together and the importance of having author Cassandra Claire around for moral support.
