Moonrise Kingdom, the latest film from Wes Anderson, tells the story of two 12-year-olds, Suzy and Sam, who run away together into the wilderness. Newcomers Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward won the coveted roles over thousands of kids and judging by the preliminary reaction to their performances, they have bright futures ahead.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Jared and Kara in Los Angeles about working on their first feature film, sharing an onscreen kiss and working with such an eclectic cast.
