Helen Mirren - Arthur Interview

Dame Helen Mirren has made many films over the years but never a full-blown comedy. That's all changed now with Mirren starring opposite funny man Russell Brand in Arthur, a comedy about a wealthy aristocrat. Based on the 1981 movie of the same name, Arthur follows the exploits of a rich drunk who is supposed to marry an heiress but instead falls for a woman his family doesn't like. Mirren plays Arthur's nanny and let's just put it this way—she has her work cut out for her!

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Helen in Los Angeles about remakes, trying her hand at comedy, working opposite Russell Brand and getting psyched for her upcoming hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live."
