Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards explains why he disagrees with the preconceived idea that the Star Wars universe is futuristic, instead describing it as "grounded" and "historical" in its influence. He then remarks on the difficulty of carrying a Star Wars movie, and how easy his leading woman Felicity Jones made it look. Moreover, he calls Diego Luna "lovable" and "relatable," while noting Alan Tudyk's rare ability to make audiences laugh and cry. Lastly, the director reveals what he enjoyed most about filming the epic sci-fi film and what he learned from the experience.
