Erica Linz Interview

Erica Linz has always been a performer in some capacity—from the gymnasium, to the stage and now to the big screen. She sat down with Tribute.ca in Las Vegas to talk about her debut acting role in Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away, where she was able to combine her love for acrobatic work with her drive to keep the creativity flowing.

Erica plays the role of a girl who gets lost travelling between the different worlds of Cirque du Soleil in search of her missing love. Each magical realm she explores in the film is made up of pieces from seven of the live Cirque du Soleil shows performed in Vegas.

Linz also talks about what it takes to be a professional circus performer and what it was like making the transition from acrobat to movie actress.
