Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson admits she's loved the animated version since she was four years old because Belle was a young woman who spoke her mind, had ambitions, and was independent and smart. She also loved the relationship between Belle and Beast, calling it dynamic and interesting. She says she was absolutely enamored of the tale because it was funny and romantic, but not in a contrived way. She explains that as an adult, she still loves Disney films because they give you a feeling that everything will be fine.

Beauty and the Beast opens in theaters March 17, 2017.
