Avengers: Endgame cast members Scarlett Johansson and Danai Gurira talk about playing strong female characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scarlett talks about the journey her character has taken from being a “glorified secretary” in Iron Man 2. Danai reveals she felt an immediate connection to her character and says there was a lot of collaboration in creating how the women in Black Panther would address the world and be full, equal members of their society.
