Carey Mulligan Interview

Carey Mulligan literally burst into tears when she found out she got the part of Daisy Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby. A fan of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel and the original film starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow, Mulligan was thrilled to sink her teeth into the role that could very well define her career.

Tribute.ca spoke with Carey in New York about her preparation to play Daisy, having Leonardo DiCaprio as her leading man, working with director Baz Luhrmann and her upcoming film, Inside Llewyn Davis, directed by the Coen Brothers.
