Benedict Cumberbatch, British actor extraordinaire, plays John Harrison, the mysterious villain in Star Trek Into Darkness. He plays a homegrown terrorist who will stop at nothing to destroy Kirk and everything he stands for. Talk about intense!

Tribute.ca spoke with Benedict in London about joining the Star Trek franchise, what it took to play the bad guy, and how he’s handling his sex symbol status after being named Hunk of the Year by a British newspaper.
