Amy Adams discusses her character in her latest film Arrival. She plays Dr. Louise Banks, a linguist and professor, who's "called upon by the United States government to help decipher an alien language as there have been 12 ships that have arrived on the planet." She chats about her preparation for the role, which involved meeting with a linguist and learning about the profession, and admits that she doesn't think she'd make a very good linguist.
